LMW Delegation Visits Tajikistan, Participates in International Textile Forum in Dushanbe

LMW visited the Republic of Tajikistan beginning July 7, 2025, and participated in the International Textile Forum held in Dushanbe on July 9 and 10, 2025, where LMW displayed its range of smart spinning machinery at the event.

The LMW delegation, led by Mr. Jaidev Jayavarthanavelu, Director of LMW Global FZE, along with senior leadership team visited Dushanbe to explore collaborative opportunities in the region’s textile transformation journey. During the visit, they were received by officials from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan.

LMW engaged with key government stakeholders, Mr. Kokhir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan; Mr. Sherali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technologies; Mr. Nazar Aziz Savzali, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies; and Mr. Yusuf Majidi, First Deputy Minister of Finance. Discussions focused on potential measures related to the spinning segment and alignment with relevant financial and industrial frameworks.

As part of the visit, the LMW team also engaged with the Embassy of India in Dushanbe, including Mr. Rajesh Uike, Ambassador of India to Tajikistan who extended his full support to LMW’s initiatives.. Discussions included areas of bilateral industrial cooperation and textile sector development in Tajikistan.

LMW Global FZE participated in the International Textile Forum and presented its range of spinning machinery solutions at its exhibition booth. The display covered machinery from blowroom to auto winder systems, designed for productivity, quality consistency, and energy efficiency. Company representatives interacted with textile professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs attending the forum from Central Asia and other regions.

The forum served as a platform for discussions on textile manufacturing, sustainability, and value-chain integration, with participation from industry stakeholders across the region. Central Asia, including Tajikistan, has been identified by industry participants as an emerging region for textile manufacturing development.
